My Dawg!!!

Maybe I ended my last post by saying this isn't a blog about dogs and babies. Maybe I lied!

Here's Theodore rockin it on my backpack. That can't be comfy. I claim he hated it when I studied and this is a silent protest of sorts.

The group of pictures below is from Theodore's first road trip! Gaaaannnnggggssssstttttaaaaa!

Here he's trying to find his balance while precipitously standing on the edge of the back seat, this is what he does when he wants to come hang out with his cool parents, you can almost hear hims saying, "MOM?!" BTW I understand that last sentence made me sound like a crazy "cat lady" type of pet fan, but I stand by it.

We had a bunch of shirts hanging up in the car and Theodore found that the best way to rock'n roll was by sandwiching himself between them all. You can tell he aint happy by my parting the shirts ala Moses to take this picture. "Dad, I'ma knife you!"

Theodore giving Morgan his "guilty" face after having pee'd the second we placed him on the bed at Aunt Tammy's house. Notice the lack of sheets. I put guilty in quotes too because a real gangster like Theodore never feels remorse.

It was an out of body experience because we had arrived dead tired just to watch him soil where we were supposed to be sleeping in about 5 minutes. It's one of those moments where you're supposed to react quickly but instead just stare in disbelief and look over at who's with you, also seeing what you're seeing.

The only thing that could have made this moment any more "Sienfeld or Curb Your Enthusiasm-esque," if you will, is that Morgan had gone specifically out of her way to let Tammy know just how much wonderful progress Theodore had made in his potty training! Ha! We brainstormed every way to salvage the situation, from sneaking up and doing a load of laundry while Tammy and Chip were asleep to hand washing the spot ourselves. In the end we had to come clean, thanks again Theodore.

Here's a video (below) that features one of Theodore's many talents, guard duty.

I was having a little difficulty getting this video to load. If it doesn't work for you try clicking on the link and watching it on YouTube: http://youtu.be/SY_U7Y6x-w4

Ok I'm not a fan of humiliating a fellow male, especially while he's in the stage of life where he's trying to establishing his "kicking trash and taking names" persona, however this picture is hilarious and Morgan LOVES it... so here's Theodore dressed in what Sabrina sent to Morgan in her birthday package.

Theodore's eyes seem to be saying, "You're not going to put this on your blog are you?"... Sorry Little Buddy.

That's all I got for now. Coming shortly are the pictures from Morgan's 23rd birthday, pictures of start-to-finish progress on my computer build, and (I swear more manly) things I like!

Living Arizona

Welcome to my blog! I know what you're thinking. "Uh oh, J.R. is blogging now?" Yep. My guy friends are most likely already deleting me from their contact lists and the few women that know me other than my wife must think this is an infringement on what has been predominantly their social realm of influence. Truth is, things come up all the time where I go, wow that interests me, I want to write about that. This blog is my way to look back on what I was into during certain phases of my life, I almost don't care about the public viewing aspect.

Another reason for me wanting to start a blog is to have an outlet. Sometimes you gotta empty out what's upstairs, and since I type way faster than I write, this will be my journal of sorts.

Finally, I decided to start blogging because I'm sick of those people that always say, "that's making the blog!" If you can't beat em... join em.

Moving on...

I married Morgan this summer! It was the classic case of realizing what I had lost. Morgan and I had dated, broken up, I "groveled", we got back together, and finally got married. Glad she took me back. We then moved to Arizona where we are both living now! We bunked up in my parents guest house and I'm waiting on medical school applications while we work for the year and goof around.

Now that you're caught up let me start on what I like right now.

Morgan and I bought a dog! Theodore is his name and he is better than your dog. He's the man! This teacup Yorkshire terrier has more personality packed into his little frame than does Verne Troyer. He barks at ghosts that only he sees, stares you dead in the eye while peeing on your stuff, and will go after something ten times his size like a cholo.

Here is a picture of him sleeping on my feet.

Looks cute I know but you have no idea how guilty I felt once I had to get up!

Another thing I like is how cute my little wife can be when she gets emotional. She thinks it's annoying but I can't get enough of it.

Here's a picture of her when we had to leave Provo and she had to say goodbye to her sister Sabrina, awwww!

P.S. The sonic drink helped in this picture "making the blog."

Finally, here's the last thing I'll comment on in my first ever post. My niece Ruby!

She was crying because Zach and Rachel had gone out for the night. I was able to get her to fall asleep. Here's my proof. Check it out!

During the endeavor she managed to snag my glasses, when she fell asleep they fell on her face!Boom! That's just plain cute. I don't care who you are.

These are just three of the things that I, J.R., like right now. This post might seem like your typical post from a married man gushing about babies and new dogs, but I assure you. There will be plenty of things I'll post that will leave you scratching your head like, "who is this guy?" Can't pin me down!
